Convention 2027 Request Form

Please complete this form to request your committee meeting, class or presentation time, and exhibit space at the Chicago Convention 2027. The deadline to submit is Monday, July 27. Once your requests are reviewed and confirmed with the planning committee, you will receive an email confirmation of your approved meeting room, class(es), and exhibit space, no later than Monday, Aug. 10.

Committee Meeting – Monday, April 26

Committee meetings are available Monday, April 26, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Select your preferred time block below.

If your meeting runs through or begins at lunch, your committee is responsible for providing lunch or a break for lunch. Please contact Jill Blimline at [email protected] to inquire about hotel catering.

Union Solidarity and Catering Requirements: Hotel contracts prohibit outside food, beverages, and liquor in all meeting spaces. This is both a contractual obligation and an act of labor solidarity — bringing in outside items undermines the collective bargaining agreements of unionized hotel workers. All food and beverages must be ordered through hotel catering. Unauthorized items are subject to corkage and service fees.

Classes & Presentations – Tuesday, April 27

Classes and presentations are scheduled for Tuesday, April 27. Each session is 45 minutes. If your class content is appropriate for repeat presentation, you may request both time slots.

Exhibit Space

Each exhibit space includes one 6′ table and two chairs. The standard space accommodates a 6′ table, two chairs, and a standard pop-up floor banner. If your group uses a larger backdrop or display that extends beyond the table’s footprint, indicate that below. Larger space requests are not guaranteed but will be accommodated to the best of our ability.

Setup takes place Monday, April 26, from 2-7 p.m. and must be completed by 7 p.m. Your display may be taken down Thursday, April 29, between 5-7 p.m.

We suggest that space be staffed by members of your group when possible during breaks in Convention business. A detailed agenda will be available at a later date.
