NATCA President Nick Daniels Meets with U.S. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries

NATCA President Nick Daniels met with U.S. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (N.Y.-8) on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026. During their meeting, they discussed NATCA’s legislative priorities for 2026, including pay parity and approval of the Mental Health in Aviation Act. President Daniels and Leader Jeffries also discussed facility consolidation and NATCA’s position that facility realignment and consolidation should only take place when safety, proven operational benefits, and collaborative labor input are prioritized over real estate or cost-cutting motives.
