NATCA Member Hosts Sen. Susan Collins’ Staff Member for Tour of Bangor ATCT

NATCA Member Bryan Loquet (Bangor ATCT, BGR) gave a tour of BGR to a member of Sen. Susan Collins’ staff in June 2026. The tour and discussion focused on pay parity, staffing challenges at BGR, the Mental Health in Aviation and Medication Transparency acts, and modernization efforts across the National Airspace System (NAS).

Sen. Collins’ staff member said she would share the issues raised during the visit with Sen. Collins in hopes of making meaningful progress on all of them.
