Josh Lipkin-Moore Honored with the New England Region Archie League Medal of Safety

When one aircraft unexpectedly began its takeoff roll into the path of another, the difference between a close call and a collision came down to a split-second call. At the Archie League Medal of Safety Award Banquet during Communicating For Safety 2026, controller Josh Lipkin-Moore was honored for his quick recognition and firm command that stopped the aircraft in time. His vigilance prevented what could have been a catastrophic runway incursion.

NATCA New England Regional Vice President Kevin Curtiss presented Josh Lipkin-Moore with the Archie League Medal of Safety Award for the New England Region.
