NATCA Members Give U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly Tour of Erie ATCT

NATCA members Glenn Bloise (Erie ATCT, ERI) and Karyl Shaffer (Engineer/Eastern Region, EEA) recently gave U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (Pa.-16) and his staff a facility tour of Erie ATCT. During the visit, Bloise and Shaffer discussed many of NATCA’s legislative priorities with Rep. Kelly, including pay parity for FAA employees, the Mental Health in Aviation Act, and modernization efforts across the National Airspace System (NAS).

The visit provided an opportunity to highlight the critical role ERI plays in the NAS and to continued NATCA’s efforts to educate members of Congress about the operational and legislative issues affecting air traffic controllers and other aviation safety professionals.
