NATCA Leaders Represent Our Union at the 30th AFL-CIO Constitutional Convention
Union leaders and activists from around the country gathered June 7-10, in Minneapolis for the 30th AFL-CIO Constitutional Convention. NATCA President Nick Daniels, Special Counsel to the President Eugene Freedman, and National Training Rep. Jamaal Haltom represented our Union during the event. The convention brought together representatives from AFL-CIO’s 65 affiliate unions during a crucial time for the labor movement.
Attendees heard speeches from workers, leaders, and allies. The convention also featured panels and trainings on crucial issues like AI, immigration, organizing, worker safety and more. Delegates also reelected AFL-CIO President Liz Schuler and Secretary-Treasurer Fred Redmond for a second term.
