RVP Monthly Update April 2025

Hello NNM NATCA,

We had an event-packed March. the EOs that have come out are meant to cause chaos. They’re designed to destroy the foundation unions are built upon. I appreciate members reaching out with their concerns, in this everchanging environment it’s always imperative that we ask questions and stay informed. In 2006-2009 some of us lived through the imposed work rules and saw the ineffectiveness of when the agency didn’t include NATCA in the conversation. It is more important now than ever to stand strong together. 26 members from the NNM went to Washington DC for NATCA in Washington (NiW), on RDOS’s or leave, to meet with members of Congress about attacks on our retirement, retention, and staffing. It was a very productive week building and fostering relationships on the hill. Thank you to those of you that were able to attend and THANK YOU to everyone who is working ensuring the safety of the NAS.

The ERR submission deadline is April 18th for the May 13th NCEPT panel. The CRWG work group has not yet finalized implementation, so this panel will utilize current facility staffing numbers.

We have our regional meeting in Seattle with a member event the evening of April 9th. We also have a solidarity event in Denver April 21st. Check with your facreps for more information on attending these events.

Our next all members NNM call, where members will get a brief update as well as interact with the ARVPs and myself, will be Tuesday April 15th at 1300 MST/1200 PST.

We visited facilities in Montana, Utah and Colorado in March and have visits planned for Washington and Colorado in April. If you have a member event or meeting you would like me to attend reach out and let me know.
