BJC Onboarding

CISM/EAP
Are you feeling stressed? Are you in need of someone to talk to? Remember, help is available, and you don’t have to suffer alone or in silence.
The NATCA Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) program offers 24/7 support to controllers following acute stressful incidents. There are some aspects of the CISM program that allow for it to be most effective including its peer-to-peer nature. Its peer-to-peer approach is effective because peers, also controllers, understand the job’s unique pressures, including irregular schedules and work-life balance. Do not hesitate to reach out to CISM at 202-505-2476, or our regional CISM coordinator Sam Navarro at 206-713-5191.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can also significantly contribute to the well-being of both employees and their family members. These programs offer support through counseling and other assistance programs, helping individuals overcome personal problems that may hinder their ability to work effectively. EAP is available 24/7, providing assistance whenever needed. It’s important to note that utilizing EAP services does not jeopardize your medical.
Mental Health and well-being are important. Do not hesitate to reach out to CISM or EAP, they exist to support and help you.

N2025 NATCA Scholarship Application is open! Apply by March 1st!
The NATCA scholarship fund is established for the spouses, children, stepchildren, and legally adopted children of active, retired, and deceased NATCA members with continuous membership in good standing of at least two years. These scholarships are for full-time attendance at accredited colleges and universities within the United States and its territories for an undergraduate degree program. The 2025 scholarship application is open, and the last day to apply is March 1!
