President Nick Daniels Meets with Congressional Members on Capitol Hill

Last month, NATCA President Nick Daniels visited Capitol Hill for meetings with several members of the House of Representatives. He met with Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (N.Y.-8), U.S. Representative Nikki Budzinski (Ill.-13), and U.S. Representative Mark Pocan (Wis.-2).

Rep. Budzinski has a long track record of supporting union causes. She spent a decade working for the Laborers International Union of North America (LiUNA), the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), and the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW).

Rep. Mark Pocan is also a longtime labor rights advocate, as a member of the AFL-CIO, and co-chair of the House Labor Caucus.

Similarly, Minority Leader Jeffries has been a friend of the union movement and NATCA throughout his tenure in the House. In 2024, he served as one of the keynote speakers for NATCA in Washington, delivering an inspiring address.

Our Union looks forward to continuing to foster strong relationships with allies of NATCA and the labor movement at large.
