NBC Interviews NATCA Member for News Story

NBC News’ Tom Costello interviewed Los Angeles Center (ZLA) and 2019 FAA Academy graduate Janessa Meuleners for a story that aired last night on NBC Nightly News, highlighting the critical shortage of air traffic controllers. The story gave an inside look at the FAA’s air traffic control academy in Oklahoma City, and the staffing shortage that continues nationwide as the FAA struggles to bring a new generation of controllers through training and into the National Airspace System.
