U.S. Rep. Sara Jacobs Visits Southern California TRACON

On Tuesday, October 31st, 2023, NATCA members at Southern California TRACON (SCT) had the opportunity to host U.S. Representative Sara Jacobs (Calif.-51). The tour was facilitated by NLC Western Pacific Region Alternate Christina Wilcko (Southern California TRACON, SCT). 

During this visit, NATCA members discussed the importance of improving staffing and passing a multi-year FAA Reauthorization bill. Rep. Jacobs had the opportunity to see the benefits of having a child care facility on premises at FAA workplaces. The congresswoman appeared impressed by the facility and expressed her support for increased access to child care and support for working families in the aviation safety profession.
