NATCA Members Join IFATCA Colleagues at World ATM
International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Association (IFATCA) Technical and Operations Committee (TOC) chair Jaymi Steinberg (Washington Center, ZDC) and Professional & Legal Committee (PLC) member Michelle Trudeau (Indianapolis Center, ZID) joined their brothers and sisters from around the world in representing the air traffic profession at last month’s World ATM Congress in Madrid, the world’s largest international air traffic management (ATM) exhibition and conference.
“We were excited to finally get the TOC and PLC together in a place for a face to face meeting,” Steinberg said. “These meetings are necessary for fostering both team building and dialogue.”
The members of both teams, the TOC and PLC, are experienced subject matter experts from a diverse array of countries. The committees discussed and reviewed technical papers and topics that feature material related to global aviation issues.
