North Carolina Congresswoman Adams Visits New Charlotte Facility

North Carolina Congresswoman Alma Adams recently visited the new Charlotte ATCT (CLT) facility. She toured the new tower and TRACON simulation labs, classrooms, break rooms, quiet rooms, and outdoor areas, and was briefed on the training process and fatigue mitigations. “The congresswoman has been an amazing supporter of NATCA’s legislative efforts,” said CLT Legislative Rep Stephen Cooper. “Upon her arrival, she commented on the amazing height of the new tower cab, the improved visibility of the airfield, and the beauty of the new facility. 

“After the tour, she thanked everyone for their hard work and stated that she was pleased to see the facility and all of the new technology being used in Charlotte to keep the flying public safe, and that tax money was well spent.”
