Drug and Alcohol Training
This course will educate NATCA advocates on the FAA’s policies concerning drug and alcohol testing. This course will cover topics ranging from the testing procedures, employees’ rights under the collective bargaining agreement, the Union’s representation rights for issues concerning Order 3910.1C, the rehabilitation treatment matters for substance abuse under a management referral (also called the “last chance agreement”) and under the self-referral, and discussion and analysis of NATCA/FAA arbitration decisions related to issues associated with Order 3910.1C.
Prerequisites: None
Training Duration: This 2-day training begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.
What to bring: Pen/highlighter, notepad, laptop.
