NATCA Scholarship Program
2025 NATCA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION OPEN UNTIL MARCH 1
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Spouses, children, stepchildren, and legally adopted children of active, retired and deceased NATCA members.
- NATCA members must have two years of continuous good standing active union membership prior to the applicants’ submission of application.
- Applicants’ enrollment is for full-time attendance at accredited colleges and universities within the United States and its territories for an undergraduate degree program.
The deadline to apply is March 1. The application for the scholarship can be found below.
The application process includes an essay submission. This year’s prompt asks candidates to examine factors that can strengthen or weaken labor unions:
Labor unions exist because workers chose collective action over individual advocacy. As you prepare to enter the workforce, describe how you see the role of unions in protecting workers today. What responsibilities do younger workers have in maintaining strong, effective unions, and how can new generations contribute to the continued relevance and success of organized labor in the United States?

Every year, NATCA offers a scholarship program for spouses, children, stepchildren, and legally adopted children of active, retired, and deceased members in good standing for at least two consecutive years. This scholarship is for full-time attendance at accredited colleges and universities within the United States and its territories for an undergraduate degree program.
