NBCFAE’s 50th Anniversary Conference
NATCA President Nick Daniels, NATCA members LaKecia “Key” Shuron (Reading TRACAB, RDG) and Tina Thomas (FAA HQ Staff, EHQ), and NATCA staff member Alicia Jordan represented the Union at the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees (NBCFAE) 50th Anniversary Conference in New Orleans, Aug. 1-4, 2026.
Daniels addressed the coalition on Day 2 of the event, opening the conversation with an update focused on mental health, pay, and the issues NATCA is actively working to address. During the event, he officially joined NBCFAE as a member, becoming the first NATCA President in 10 years to join the coalition emphasizing the importance of strengthening collaboration and working more closely together.
