More Than 20 NATCA Members Complete Secretary/Treasurer Training

Twenty-two NATCA members recently completed Secretary/Treasurer Training (STT), which took place Aug. 10-11, 2026, at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas. The STT course improves members’ knowledge of NATCA and the Department of Labor (DOL) and Internal Revenue Service rules. It provides members with an understanding of the importance of strict recordkeeping, consistency, and written documentation for financial guidelines.

NATCA member Janette Chandler (Engineer/Southern Region, ESO) described the course this way, “STT gave me practical tools I can bring directly back to my Local—from conducting elections and maintaining proper records to understanding our financial responsibilities. More importantly, I now have a better understanding of where to find answers and resources when our members need support.”
