
Professional Standards Committee Welcomes New Members
The Professional Standards Committee recently held a three-day training in Phoenix in June. The training allowed the committee to welcome new members to the team and thank them for volunteering to serve NATCA in such an important way.
“I left Professional Standards with a new appreciation for the impact we can have on our workplace and each other. The program has given us tools and resources that empower us to have difficult conversations, improve communication, and strengthen facility culture. Every step we take toward greater professionalism and respect makes our workplace more enjoyable, our operation more efficient, and the NAS safer. It’s an honor to be part of an organization that invests in programs like Professional Standards, and I look forward to taking what I have learned back to my facility and step into this new role,” said new committee member Lindsey Shirley (Meacham ATCT, FTW).
