NiW 2026: NLC Roll Call Launches Mission to Capitol Hill
The National Legislative Committee (NLC) opened NATCA in Washington 2026 today with the traditional roll call, a mission-readiness practice that originated with the U.S. Air Force history. Led by Chair David Skarphol and Vice Chair Allison Schwaegel, the NLC equips member activists to meet with lawmakers and advocate for the Union’s core priorities: staffing, training, modernization, and the long-term safety of the National Airspace System. As constituents from across the country, NATCA members provide the expertise necessary to shape federal aviation policy and secure the future of the air traffic control profession.
