NATCA President Nick Daniels and Others Join Aviation Industry Leaders at ATCA Connect

NATCA was well-represented at the annual ATCA Connect conference March 2-4 in Charleston, S.C. This year’s ATCA Connect marked 70 years since the organization’s founding, and organizers placed a renewed focus on planning for the future of aviation, while maintaining core values of safety and collaboration.

NATCA President Nick Daniels served on the opening panel for the conference titled, “Modernization Without Pause: Inside the Operational Reality of BNATCS.” Some of NATCA’s other subject-matter experts also spoke on panels during the event.

NATCA Safety Chair John Murdock was a panelist on “Safety in a Data-rich NAS: Predictive Tools, AI, and Trust,” and NATCA Urban Air Mobility Rep. Will Hutson joined the panel “Designing the System: Policy, Technology, and Operational Readiness.”

The conference offered great opportunities for NATCA leaders to discuss issues facing our profession with both corporate executives and government officials.
