NATCA Members Lead “Ask the Controller” Sessions for COPA University in Florida and California

NATCA members across the country have recently lent their time and expertise to assist with the education and training of pilots through the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) University CPPP training. The program provides recurrent training on Cirrus aircraft to enhance safety, and flying proficiency for pilots and owners. Our members have played a crucial role in enhancing the training for COPA University pilots through “Ask the Controller” sessions.

In February, Daytona Beach ATCT/TRACON (DAB) FacRep Mike Driscoll  lent his expertise to COPA University participants in Melbourne, Fla., answering questions and providing tips on how pilots can more effectively communicate with air traffic controllers.

In April, Palm Springs ATCT (PSP) FacRep Jeremiah Luigs Brown and NATCA PSP member Kevin Cook led an “Ask the Controller” session for COPA University attendees in Palm Springs, Calif.

Great job, brothers!
