Advocating for the Necessary Resources for NATCA Members to Sustain the NAS: Appropriations and Budget Reconciliation

At #NATCAinWashington 2025, members attended a critical Appropriations/Budget Reconciliation Briefing, focusing on securing full FAA funding for recruitment, training, retention of existing controllers, and modernization. With ongoing budget challenges, including potential shutdowns and funding shortfalls, NATCA remains committed to advocating for the resources our members need to sustain and improve the National Airspace System (NAS).

This briefing equipped NATCAvists with the knowledge to inform lawmakers about the critical needs of our members as they work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to protect the NAS and ensure aviation safety remains a national priority.
