OSHA/OWCP Training Teaches Members How to Maintain a Safe and Healthy Work Environment

In January, the OSHA Committee hosted their first NATCA Academy course of the year in Baltimore. OSHA Committee Chair Karena Marinas (Los Angeles Center, ZLA), Southwest Region OSHA Rep. Deb Stewart (Corpus Christi Tower, CRP), and Eastern Region OWCP Rep. John Thompson (Washington ARTCC, ZDC) served as instructors for this session. The class focused on the importance of understanding NATCA’s role in the OSHA and OWCP programs. Students participated in exercises to help them gain a better understanding of how to utilize our CBA to support our membership and ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
