2025 NATCA Calendar: January Highlights El Monte ATCT (EMT)

This month, the 2025 NATCA wall calendar features a photo of El Monte ATCT (EMT) taken by local FacRep Chad Smith. Located at the San Gabriel Valley Airport, El Monte ATCT has 13 NATCA members.

The airport was originally constructed in 1936 and features a single runway. It is a hub for general aviation enthusiasts. According to Los Angeles County’s Department of Public Works, El Monte ATCT sees over 97,000 general aviation takeoffs and landings each year!
