NATCA Member Meets with Congressional Representatives in Raleigh. N.C.

On Oct. 3, NATCA member James Walsh (Raleigh-Durham ATCT, RDU) attended an event in the Raleigh-area with three members of Congress– U.S. Rep. Glenn Ivey (Md.-4), U.S. Rep. Deborah Ross (N.C.-2), and U.S. Rep. Don Davis (N.C.-1).

North Carolina was hit by Hurricane Helene just days prior to the event, so it was at the forefront of conversation. Rep. Ross and Davis spoke about the impact of the hurricane on North Carolina. Walsh also talked to them about the air traffic control facilities that were damaged by the hurricane. Reps. Davis and Ross expressed that they were grateful for the federal response to the disaster thus far.
