Runoff Election Results for NATCA President and Executive Vice President

Today, the National Election Committee (NEC) oversaw the counting of the ballots to determine the results of the two runoff races for President and Executive Vice President. The NEC’s report of election will be finalized tomorrow; however, the NEC can announce the results of the election.

The rules for NATCA elections require that any candidate for the NEB receives a majority of the votes cast to win. No candidate for President or Executive Vice President met this threshold at the original ballot count on July 30. For these races, a runoff election between the two candidates that received the most votes was held.

The runoff for President was between Nick Daniels and Rich Santa. The runoff for Executive Vice President was between Mick Devine and Jamaal Haltom.

The winning candidates are as follows:

  • President: Nick Daniels
  • Executive Vice President: Mick Devine

The term for the President and Executive Vice President begins on Nov. 4.
