From the Desk of NATCA President Rich Santa: Hurricane Helena Response, Member Telcon this Wednesday
Brothers and Sisters,
I’d like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable efforts by our members in response to Hurricane Helena. We had members that experienced hardships, and the facility representatives, regional team, the Disaster Response Committee (DRC), and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team were ready with supplies and counsel.
The unified effort shown throughout this disaster shows how great our Union is in a time of crisis. Many of our members were impacted by the storm and are still dealing with the aftermath. Please consider helping them out and donating to the DRC by visiting the committee page here for instructions.
This Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. Eastern, I will be leading a membership telcon to recap the month of September Union events. It is open to all NATCA members and can be accessed by with this link.
In closing, I want to remind everyone that the Second Biennial NATCA Activism and Training Expo (ATX) is fast approaching, and registration is open. It will take place Dec. 9-12, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. You can register for ATX by following this link.
In Solidarity,
Rich Santa
NATCA President
