Exciting News: NATCA Welcomes Members from Nine Newly Organized Facilities
NATCA is proud to represent air traffic control specialists at 142 Federal Contract Towers, managed by Midwest Air Traffic Control Services, Robinson Aviation (RVA), Inc., RVA-CI Squared Aviation, Inc., and Serco Management Services, Inc. These towers typically employ between five and ten controllers, many of whom are retired FAA and military personnel.
Additionally, NATCA represents specialists at Department of Defense (DoD) towers, including Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point (NKT), Kalaeloa Tower (JRF), Los Alamitos Army Airfield (SLI), Wheeler Army Airfield (HHI), and 259th ATC Squadron Louisiana National Guard (AEX).
Today, we’re thrilled to spotlight and welcome the members from these newly organized facilities who recently voted to join NATCA in the past few months:
Stennis Federal Contract Tower (HSA), 2 members: Located in Kiln, Miss., Stennis International Airport’s control tower was named 2021 Facility of the Year by Robinson Aviation, highlighting its exceptional services and community spirit.
Jefferson City, Mo. (JEF), 4 members, 100% NATCA: Serving Jefferson City Memorial Airport, this facility handles a range of general aviation traffic on its single runway.
Cuyahoga County FCT (CGF), 4 members, 100% NATCA: Located in Richmond Heights, Ohio, this tower supports aviation operations at Cuyahoga County Airport, which boasts a busy single runway for general and business aviation.
Charlottesville, Va. (CHO), 3 members, 100% NATCA: Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport features a single runway and handles regional and general aviation traffic.
Lebanon FCT (LEB), 3 members: Lebanon Municipal Airport in New Hampshire supports aviation with its single runway, primarily serving general aviation.
Burke Lakefront FCT (BKL), 6 members, 100% NATCA: This facility in Cleveland, Ohio, manages Burke Lakefront Airport, a key hub for business and general aviation with two runways.
Columbus/Ohio State FCT (OSU), 3 members: Supporting Ohio State University Airport, this tower handles a mix of training flights and general aviation on its four runways.
Austin Executive FCT (EDC), 4 members, 100% NATCA: Located in Texas, Austin Executive Airport features a single runway and caters primarily to business aviation.
Vance AFB (END), 7 members, 100% NATCA: A vital training base in Enid, Okla., Vance Air Force Base operates with a primary focus on military training flights across its multiple runways.
