PCT NATCA Members Discuss Staffing Issues at Congressional Event

Potomac TRACON (PCT) NATCA members Andy Rhodes and Taylor Warren recently attended an event with U.S. Representatives Rob Wittman (Va.-1) and Dale Strong (Ala.-5), where Rhodes took the opportunity to inform the representatives about NATCA’s legislative priorities — namely staffing.

“Congressman Wittman noted he wanted to make sure funds were going to be allocated for NextGen and FAA infrastructure modernization,” Rhodes said. “Both members of Congress were very receptive and also very surprised at how dire the staffing situation is right now.”
