Statement From NATCA – (9/12/2013)

Safety is and always has been NATCA’s top priority. We are proud of the collaborative efforts we have undertaken with the FAA to reduce safety incidents and increase reporting opportunities for controllers and FAA employees. The fact is they have made a difference and improved the overall safety of the aviation system. Maintaining the safety of the world’s largest, most efficient national airspace requires constant vigilance and focus. It is a critical task that NATCA’s members take seriously and work to achieve every single day.
