“Chairman Hersman has been an extraordinary leader on aviation safety issues. NATCA has greatly valued her vision and dedication as we have worked together to make improvements to the world’s safest aviation system. It has been a true honor and privilege for NATCA to have developed a close working relationship with Chairman Hersman and we will miss her. We wish her the very best as she joins the National Safety Council as its next president and CEO and we thank her for all the great work she has done at the NTSB.”
