NATCA Leadership

This is Dan McCabe’s first full term as Southern (NSO) Regional Vice President. Upon Jim Marinitti’s retirement McCabe became the new NSO RVP on Dec. 1, 2023. He previously served as the Southern Region’s Alternate RVP under Marinitti starting in 2021. Dan McCabe’s FAA career began in 2005, with the entirety of his time spent at Atlanta Center (ZTL). His work in NATCA started shortly after, taking on the role of Facility Safety Representative from 2008 to 2012. McCabe’s commitment to safety and his involvement in local Air Traffic Safety Action Program (ATSAP) facilitation, workgroups, and negotiations laid the foundation for his subsequent election as ZTL FacRep, a position he served in from 2019-2022. Dan is also a member of the Labor Relations team and the Onboarding Committee, and has served as an instructor for NATCA’s foundational and advanced leadership courses.
