National Runway Safety Rep. Bridget Singratanakul Presents at NBAA Forum

In February, Bridget Singratanakul, NATCA National Runway Safety Representative, led a panel alongside Alex Gertsen, National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) Sr. Director, Airport Advocacy and Vertical Infrastructure, at the NBAA Orlando Regional Forum on Elevating Runway & Surface Safety in the NAS. During the presentation, Singratanakul and Gersten discussed best practices and techniques with pilots. The pair also promoted some helpful materials and tools created to ensure pilots are safe in the air and on the ground, including the FAA’s “From the Flight Deck” video series.

This event was a great opportunity to educate general aviation pilots and aircraft enthusiasts about the role of air traffic controllers and best practices for communicating.
