Representative Training Prepares a New Class of Union Leaders

In January, thirty NATCA members holding a wide variety of representative roles attended Representative Training 1 (RT-1) held at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront. This was the first RT-1 class to ever be held outside of Las Vegas, and the hotel received positive reviews from attendees.

National Training Rep. Jamaal Haltom, National Human Performance Rep. Aaron Katz, Los Angeles Center (ZLA) FacRep Martin Ramirez, and Region X ARVPs Allen Casey and Nicole Wysong served as instructors. The class focused on the day-to-day interactions and responsibilities between representatives and their management counterparts, as well as representatives’ roles and responsibilities to the membership. President Nick Daniels and Executive Vice President Mick Devine also stopped by to speak with the class.
