NATCA Committee Leaders Gather in Chicago to Strengthen Union Collaboration and Set Goals for the Year Ahead

NATCA brought its Committee Chairs and Vice Chairs together for an in-person meeting on Jan. 28-29 in Chicago. NATCA President Nick Daniels and Executive Vice President Mick Devine addressed the many NATCA leaders in attendance, joined by the National Executive Board (NEB).

The two-day meeting was packed with updates, training, and strategy sessions. Attendees learned about NATCA’s organizational structure, policies, and finances. They participated in leadership training, committee briefings, and discussions on budget processes, ITC, MyNATCA enhancements, and convention planning. The sessions also focused on best practices for committee operations, mentorship for new leaders, and strengthening communication and collaboration across committees.

NATCA leaders led engaging briefings and training sessions, including Finance Committee Chair Devin Carlisto (Seattle Center, ZSE), Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) Committee Chair Karena Marinas (Los Angeles Center, ZLA), Kristi Perigo (Kansas City Center, ZKC), San Francisco Planning Committee Chair Charles Howell (Oakland Center, ZOA), and National Election Support Committee (ESC) Co-Chair Tiffany McBride (Southern California TRACON, SCT).

The meeting wrapped up with committee chairs setting collective goals to strengthen our Union’s work in the year ahead.
