2025 NATCA Scholarship Application is Open: Apply by March 1

The NATCA scholarship fund is established for the spouses, children, stepchildren, and legally adopted children of active, retired, and deceased NATCA members with continuous membership in good standing of at least two years. These scholarships are for full-time attendance at accredited colleges and universities within the United States and its territories for an undergraduate degree program. The 2025 scholarship application is open, and the last day to apply is March 1. The application for the scholarship can be found here.

The application process includes an essay submission. This year’s prompt asks candidates how unions can build a culture of unity and collaboration among members with diverse perspectives and interests:

Unions are strongest when their members stand united, but achieving unity can be challenging, especially when diverse perspectives and interests exist within the membership. Discuss the factors that contribute to division within a union, and explore strategies to strengthen and unify members toward common goals. How can leadership foster a sense of solidarity, build trust, and encourage collaboration among members with varying priorities?
