NATCA National Attends Aero Club Luncheon with Other Aviation and Labor Union Executives
NATCA staff including Special Counsel to NATCA’s President Eugene Freedman, Senior Counsel for Policy Greg Shoemaker, Deputy Director of Labor Relations Natalie Moffett, Safety and Technology Administrator Brianna Deaver, Director of Public Affairs Thom Metzger, Deputy Director of Public Affairs Jill Blimline, and Public Affairs Administrator Jessica Reed represented our Union at the latest Aero Club of Washington luncheon. The event continues the club’s mission of fostering discussion on key issues in aviation and aerospace.
The luncheon featured a panel discussion moderated by Aero Club President David Richardson, who also is Director of Governmental Affairs for Southwest Airlines, and included PASS National President Dave Spero, Transportation Trades Department (TTD) President Greg Regan, and Transport Workers Union of America (TWI) International Vice President Thom McDaniel. Each speaker emphasized the importance of strong labor unions in advancing aviation safety and protecting the rights of the workers who keep the industry running.
The Aero Club of Washington’s monthly luncheons are a unique forum for aviation professionals in the Washington area to network and hear directly from industry leaders. NATCA supports the club and participates in these critical discussions to build relationships with other aviation leaders in our nation’s capital.
