NATCA Honors the LGBTQ+ Community During Pride Month
This Pride Month, NATCA honors the history of the LGBTQ+ equal rights movement and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community. The month of June includes the anniversaries of noteworthy historic LGBTQ+ moments, including the 1969 Stonewall Uprising and the legalization of same-sex marriage throughout the United States through the Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges in 2015. Our Union recognizes Pride Month because LGBTQ+ rights are workers’ rights. Every working person should be afforded the same rights and protections, no matter their gender identity or sexual orientation.
