National Training Committee Meets at National Office
The NATCA National Training Committee (NTC) met at the National Office in Washington, D.C. from Jan. 24-25. The group discussed a range of topics, including the Second Annual Activism and Training Expo (ATX) which will take place Dec. 9-13, 2024 in Las Vegas.
Attendees included Committee Chair and Southwest Region Vice President Nick Daniels (Fort Worth Center, ZFW), Region X Vice President Brad Davidson (Engineer/Great Lakes Region, EGL), Alaskan Region Vice President Clint Lancaster (Anchorage Center, ZAN), Committee Vice-Chair Aaron Katz (Phoenix TRACON, P50), Robert Aitken (Engineer/New England Region, ENE), National Training Rep. Jamaal Haltom (Las Vegas ATCT, LAS), Chrissy Padgett (Washington Center, ZDC), Director of Labor Relations Nicole Vitale, and Deputy Director of Labor Relations Natalie Moffett. Dawn Johnson (Atlanta Center, ZTL) joined the meeting virtually.
The NATCA National Training Committee (NTC) is responsible for NATCA Academy courses and other NATCA training. The NTC maintains existing courses, develops and deploys new training, and reviews all national and regional training to ensure that content is relevant, standardized, and consistently delivered.
