U.S. Rep. Darren Soto Visits Orlando ATCT

U.S. Rep. Darren Soto, who represents Florida’s 9th District, recently toured the Orlando International Airport ATCT (MCO). During the visit, Soto spoke with NATCA members to learn more about their day-to-day responsibilities.

So far, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law has delivered over $200 million to the Orlando International Airport for ongoing improvements. Soto also hopes to work with stakeholders to secure a new TRACON, expand the south entrance road to the airport, and increase the number of air traffic controllers at the facility to protect safety.
