NATCA Member Activists Receive Hatch Act Briefing

A “like,” “share,” or “retweet” of the wrong thing could result in removal from federal employment, including from the FAA. Ignorance in this case is not a defense. Our Union’s member activists at NATCA in Washington learned about the Hatch Act on Tuesday morning from the Deputy Chief the Hatch Act Division at the Office of Special Counsel, Erica Hamrick. She provided an informative and engaging briefing to help our members avoid the severe penalties for a Hatch Act violation.
