NATCA Welcomes New Facility: Lunken FCT (LUK)
NATCA is excited to welcome Cincinnati Municipal Airport – Lunken Field Federal Contract Tower (LUK) to the NATCA family. The city-owned airport is located three miles east of downtown Cincinnati and serves both private aircraft and the fleets of local corporations. It also serves a few commercial flights and is the second-largest airport in the region after Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).
“We, the air traffic controllers employed by Midwest ATC at Cincinnati Lunken Tower are very thankful and excited to be new members with NATCA,” said LUK FacRep David Phillips. “Our greatest concern was our personal protection. NATCA membership allows us to be included in an organization that provides solidarity within its community. Knowing we are all in this together enables us to do our job to the best of our abilities and provide safe ATC services without worrying about all the other little things that may impact our work performance. We look forward to the future as NATCA members.”
