NATCA members at Charleston ATCT (CRW) hosted a solidarity event this week in Charleston, W.Va. The event was a welcome opportunity to get together to celebrate new friendships, said CRW member Chris Barnes, since several members who attended who have less than three years in the Agency and many are direct military hires.
NATCA’s Western Pacific Region hosted an event to congratulate Camarillo Tower (CMA) for their activism and success: 100 percent of its eligible employees are NATCA members. The event took place at Ventura Discovery Performance and event venue and it was organized by Lisa Schaefer, a controller/NATCAvist at CMA. Western Pacific Region National Legislative Committee chair Trisha Pesiri-Dybvik spoke at the event. She’s pictured below (right) with CMA member Gracie Hamer.
Champaign, Ill., (CMI) achieved initial operating capability (IOC) on Standard Terminal Automation and Replacement System (STARS) G4 Elite on Aug. 4, 2017. They celebrated the STARS installation with this festive cake!
Last month, Augusta, Ga., (AGS) and Pittsburgh (PIT) also made the transition to G4 STARS Elite.
