Inspectors of the Compliance and Enforcement Branch of the Drug Abatement Division
NATCA represents nearly 50 inspectors in seven regional Federal Aviation Administration offices, Miami, the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center and in headquarters. The members in this bargaining unit report directly to the Office of Aerospace Medicine.
NATCA won the election with 95 percent of the vote. Federal Labor Relations Authority issued certification on Jan. 3, 2002.
Within NATCA, this unit is combined with the engineers and architects which creates essentially one "region" of about 2,508 total bargaining unit members, and is represented by Region X Vice President Mike MacDonald on the National Executive Board.
