ADVISORY: "NATCA IN WASHINGTON 2000" WASHINGTON — The National Air Traffic Controllers Association will be hosting its annual legislative conference from Sunday, Sept. 17 to Wednesday, Sept. 20 at the Hyatt Regency Washington, D.C. on Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Ave., N.W. (202/737-1234).

This event is designed to motivate and educate NATCA members about the legislative process while interacting with Congress and other government officials. This year’s conference will include the following speakers:

MONDAY, SEPT. 18
9:15 a.m. —Surveying the political landscape for the 2000 elections
Democratic pollster Celinda Lake and Republican pollster Ed Goeas
Noon —Keynote address Jane Garvey, Federal Aviation Administration Administrator
2 p.m. —Appropriations process FY 2001 end game

4:15 p.m. —NATCA President John Carr

TUESDAY, SEPT. 19
