Historical Committee Digs into NATCA History
Thursday, March 22, 2012

With NATCA's 25th Anniversary coming up, it's more important than ever that NATCA's history is made available to all membership. That's why the Historical Committee, established in 2010, met at the beginning of March to start on the tedious but essential project of sorting through NATCA's history and making it more accessible.

The Historical Committee's main goal is to sort through the 25 years worth of paper documented history and make that information available to all membership by publishing it online. Before they do this, they must sort and categorize all materials that are currently in storage. They also plan to solicit all facility presidents' terms of service and any other significant events from each local. The committee hopes to gather ideas from membership in the near future about what they'd like to see collected and archived.
