Columbus Day Meet & Greet with Students in OKC
Thursday, October 20, 2011

More than 60 students at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City spent Columbus Day at a special NATCA Meet & Greet cookout with NATCA leaders and staff at Kim’s Place in Yukon.

The Columbus Day holiday was the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful fall weather with the students and interact them with NATCA leadership in a more casual setting.

NATCA President Paul Rinaldi and Executive Vice President Trish Gilbert were on hand to speak with the students about NATCA and to answer any questions that they had about their new profession.

Some students brought their families out to enjoy the day and the delicious barbecue. In addition to the NATCA presentation, Kim’s Place, one of the student housing providers, set up a variety of fun games for everyone to enjoy.

Special thanks to everyone who came out to the Meet and Greet and to Kim Koumbis from Kim’s Place for all of her help and hard work in setting this up.
