NATCA Retirement Seminar Earns Rave Reviews

The NATCA Benefits Committee recently became aware of this very glowing review of the NATCA retirement seminar:

Just wanted to quickly thank you. I attended your NATCA Retirement Seminar you conducted in Warrenton, VA on May 16th. Due to the age 56 retirement restriction, I fell under mandatory retirement on May 31st. I have participated in the pre-tax deduction FSAFEDS program the last 3 years. Knowing I was going to retire mid-year, last Nov./Dec. I filed paper work to double up on my bi-weekly payroll deductions to have a comparable amount in my FSAFEDS account for the calendar year. 

In the afternoon portion of the Seminar you mentioned that all FSAFEDS moneys had to be allocated for prior to your last day of employment.  Upon returning to Richmond, I researched you info., and found it to be true.  I quickly accelerated one of my son's orthodontic payments to zero out the account.  Had I not attended your seminar, and been paying attention, I would have forfeited a little over $900.
