See How the Union is Supporting the Fight for Collective Bargaining Rights!

To show support and solidarity for the workers in Wisconsin who are protesting a union-busting governor who is trying to take away their collective bargaining rights, NATCA is fully supporting the efforts led by the AFL-CIO and Transportation Trades Department (TTD). A few items of particular note:

The AFL-CIO has created a new website called States of Denial that provides an overview of the legislative battles at hand, offers petitions, posts recent articles, and more. Go to this link to visit: http://www.aflcio.org/issues/states/solidarity.cfm

The "We Are One" Facebook page is the Facebook presence where members are loading updates from rallies, photos, recent articles, and more. Visit this at: http://www.facebook.com/werunited

The "Stand with Wisconsin's Working People" petition, which can be viewed here, also gives people an opportunity to register as activists in Working America, the AFL-CIO's community affiliate.

Become a mobile activist by joining the AFL-CIO Rapid Action Text Team. Text NEWS to AFLCIO (235246) to receive action alerts and more. (Message and data rates may apply.)

In addition, many NATCA members attended rallies this past week. Wisconsin-area members joined the protests by participating in Hudson and Madison, Wisc., rallies (photos below). Also, NATCA members and staff participated in the march and We Are One Rally in Washington, D.C., Wednesday. President Paul Rinaldi, EVP Trish Gilbert and NGL RVP Bryan Zilonis led the group, which joined a crowd of many hundreds in front of the offices of Wisconsin's union-busting governor, Scott Walker, to support the Wisconsin workers and collective bargaining rights in every state (select photos below, as well as the full photo album on our Flickr page).
