ZDC Mourns Loss of 21-Year Member
Wednesday, January 12, 2011

NATCA lost a true brother on January 5, 2011, after a long, courageous battle against cancer. Brian P. Moore was a 21-year NATCA member and veteran controller at Washington ARTCC (ZDC). Aside from being an excellent controller, explains ZDC FacRep Tim Hardison, he was a sought after trainer, a gifted singer, and a voting member of the GRAMMY recording academy. Brian loved to travel the world and learn about new cultures and many of his trips were with fellow controllers.

"He was universally loved by all his coworkers, friends and family," shares Hardison. "He will be missed by all who knew him."

Brian's viewing is taking place on the evening of January 14 at the Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, Va., with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 15, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Herndon.
